General Details

Where

The ceremony and the celebration meal will be outdoors with an indoor enclosure nearby as a backup incase the weather does not cooperate. The address is: 11220 Springhill Drive Greenville, MI 48838

Parking

The main parking lot is right next to the venue on top of the hill. There is also an overflow lot further down the hill by the restrooms.

Seating

For the ceremony, there will be chairs provided. For the meal afterwards, there will be picnic tables for seating. If you wish to bring a blanket to sit on or your own bag chairs, feel free.

Yard Games + Board Games

We will not have the traditional dance floor, but instead there will be yard games and board games set up around for your entertainment.

Location Details

Potluck Meal

We both love community and know that food can bring people together in a beautiful way. For the meal, we encourage each family to bring either an appetizer or main dish to share. Utensils and drinks will be provided. We will not have a bar, however, if you would like to bring your own beverage that is fine as well.

There will be wedding cake as a dessert along with a gluten free cake for the bride and anyone else who is gluten free.

Note: There are several food allergies with Gluten and Dairy. It is not a requirement that your dish be gluten or dairy free. Please label your dish as such, if it is gluten and / or dairy free. :)

Q: Why no dancing?A: Neither of us enjoy dancing and we would rather have things (games) that everyone can find enjoyment in.Q: Why Wabasis Park?A: Wabasis is a camping spot both of us enjoy camping at. Having it here will add on to the special memories that have already been made.Q: Why are you not including many 'traditional' wedding events?A: We wanted this celebration to be casual and an opportunity for our circles of people to come together.

Q: Where can I find your registry?A: On the Knot website.Q: How does the online registry work?A: Once you purchase a gift, it will be mailed to us. We will wait to open the gifts until a later time.Q: Why aren't there many items on your registry?A: We both own homes and already have the items we need. Cash donations would be greatly appreciated and the most helpful.Q: How can we get the cash to you?A: You can put it in an envelope and bring it to the wedding or you can mail it to us or use the Venmo tag or Cash App tag on the Registry tab (top of the page).Q: On the registry, there are multiples of items. Do we have to buy ALL of the items or can we purchase one?A: That is up to you. Ex. if we have listed that we need 8 of an item, feel free to just purchase one of them.

Attendance

Q: What if we can't attend the wedding because we live far away?A: There will be a virtual version as an option for the ceremony.Q: What if we can't attend the wedding because these weirdos made it on a Thursday?A: There will be a virtual version as an option for the ceremony.Q: How/ When do I get the link to the virtual ceremony?A: You will receive the link via email the week of if you RSVP'd for the virtual option.Q: What should we bring?A: Bring one dish to share per family. Feel free to bring any yard games or board games to share as well.Q: Can I bring a plus-one?A: No. Unfortunately there is limit to the number of people who can be at this venue.

Q: Should we bring bag chairs?A: If you would like, but it is not necessary.Q: What seating will be provided?A: There will be folding chairs provided for an outdoor ceremony, plus plenty of picnic table space. If it rains, the folding chairs will be brought inside.

Food

Q: What food should I bring?A: Either an appetizer or main dish. Q: How much food should I bring?A: One dish per family.Q: Are there any food any food allergies?A: Yes, there are some individuals who have dairy allergies and gluten allergies. Please label foods that are gluten and / or dairy free.Q: Do we need to bring plates or napkins?A: No. All silverware items will be supplied.Q: Will there be plugs for crockpots?A: Only a few in the inside enclosure.Q: Will there be a wedding cake?A: Yes, a cake will be provided.Q: Will there be a bar?A: No bar will be provided but feel free to bring your own drink.

Weather

Q: What if it rains?A: Then we will have the ceremony and reception in the indoor enclosure.Q: What if it's buggy outside?A: We will have bug spray on-hand.
